Groves-Degale, Bellew-Cleverly, Murray-Mitchell the three most memorable top end domestic fights of the year for me, and all delivered matchups as interesting as the build-up promised.

Appleby-Walsh, Webb-Arron and Selby-Smith all surprisingly pleasing for different reasons.

Best moment? Probably the now legendary 'Let's have it now then ya' ****in' rat!' press conference

Actually, I think my favourite moment was Jim McDonnell complaining "But he called me a wanker!" as if he'd been the bastion of decency throughout the build-up.

    Mitchell-Murray
    Groves-Degale
    Bellew-Cleverly

They were three fights that I really wanted to see and all three were enthralling fights.

Look at Frank's promo page on You Tube. The whole fight was up there.

  14. Yeah, some of the crap McDonnell came out with, I think The Dark One was more than entitled to have a little gloat at his expense.

They'd have done the same and probably far worse.

Most Brits love an underdog so it was obvious Groves would be ''the crowd favourite'' but I was still shocked at the level of support he received.

It's not often the underdog is the baddie, is it? Haye vs Klitschko is obviously one, but I'm struggling to think of domestic contests where that applies.
