Not sure if it's a bias but I'm always cheering for GGG, Crawford, M Garcia. My 3 favourite fighters to watch
So at the end of the day what on the surface seems a reasonable post is just another agenda ridden one against Ali. Well done.
I guess, I'm always going to root against the guy who plays superstar card and throws A-side, B-side shyte around. (so I hope to see Canelo, Ward and a few others KO'd violently). Also I like fighters who actually fight. While I can appreciate the evasiveness and ability to move in&out unharmed, I can't stand hugging, running etc. On top of that, I can't help myself but to believe Briedis is going to be unified, undisputed CW champ on day
My prediction for an up coming fight being clouded by one fighters previous performance or in triangle theories. E.g. Matthyse hammering Peterson, so then predicting him beating Garcia. At the moment, I have these sentiments for Spence. I also like to see protected stars being exposed too, e.g Canelo, Chavez jr,
i let over the top fanboys / trolls sway my opinion of a fighter, GGG is the flavour of the month, i enjoy watching his fights an thought jacobs lost (couple of rounds max tho) but a big part of me would like him to lose so this idiots will flee the ship like rats.
I have a bias for eastern europeans because I like their accents and they tend to give off a 'stand up' guy kind of vibe. Have a bias against a lot of British fighters but I am Scottish and the media/fans over here make me want to root against them due to being overrated and overhyped. (I do like Fury & Saunders though)
I think W. is boxing's villain. He reminds me of DiMA in Fallout 4: Far Habour. Someone who seems good but who is truly evil. I wouldn't like to hang out with him.
I have a few... When I first started getting into boxing, I would always root for the Mexican/Hispanic fighter or fighters with Mexican style fighting. Not so much anymore though. One that still sticks with me though is I always find myself rooting for fighters who are fighting divas. Examples like Cotto, Canelo, Ward...
I have a bias against boxers anointed as great on the eye test alone. Nothing more enjoyable than watching a hype job being dismantled and then seeing the boxing writers jump ship afterwards...
What I hate in reality is any moron with no life crying over their sports heroes. Kind like how Kovalev fans still cry over him losing. He lost so get over it. Do we still need to talk about it months later? I hate people who think their boxing man crushes can't lose. Like how Mike Tyson fans will keep saying nobody can beat him in his prime when eh lost in his prime. Or how Marciano fans still think he could beat modern sized guys when clearly he couldn't. I hate fanboys who get so excited over one fight. Like you see Tyson Fury fans call him the greatest because he beat a washed up Wlad in the most boring heavyweight title fight ever.
Most of the posters here have agendas, both hidden and clear as day. I look at the boxing game through an unbiased lens.
