Nah Cotto is more of a stalker in my opinion. Hearns or Louis would perfect examples of a boxer puncher.
Ive been told James Toney a lot.. I like to roll to the right and follow it up with a short right hook. I also have a kinda slow work-rate, but I am very defensive minded and hard to hit. I don't try to fight like Toney though, Honestly I try to fight more like Canelo.
Any defensive drills you suggest? I'm kind of flat footed and straight forward in offense. Sort of a bit like Marciano
Even Marciano was more defensive then people give him credit for. Go watch his fights, he will actually roll to the right a lot, then come have over with his own right hand. Truth me told, I try to fight more like Wlad or Canelo. I do not really drill my defense, it just kinda get a feel for everything once we start up, and it kinda happens.
Joe frazierish with inferior body work and head movement, but Ali frazier try maize bag for defensive drills, and keep that back hand ready to block jabs
Yeah, I try to morph my favorite boxer's attributes into a style I'm comfortable with and that'll win matches.
