I'm not sure how much of a chance he has, not seen him fight in years, but props to Hide for still challenging for major titles 10 years after his last reign as WBO HW champ 1.Haye 2.Froch 3.Hatton 4.Khan 5.Witter 6.Woods 7.Cleverly 8.Murray 9.Mitchell 10.Brook After 6, there pretty much interchangeable
Okay....... 1. Froch 2. Haye 3. Witter 4. Moore 5. Khan 6. Woods 7. Munroe 8. Cleverly 9. Mitchell 10. Brook I was toying with Hide but in reality he is shot to ****, just beating up clowns to pay his legal bills. Murray could also slot in somewhere, but I feel people are overrating him, using him as a tool to give Khan a bashing. Hatton out - he is retired IMO
Just to be clear, I never said Hide was in the top 10, I just said he was worth a mention. Also, Froch above Haye?:think
I know you never said Hide was in the top 10..... On Munroe I can see why you say it, but his two wins over Martinez supercede anything Cleverly has done full stop... Mitchell hasn't done anything of note for the best part of 18 months and whilst Brook has potential and has beaten a couple of reasonable fighters, he needs to face someone a bit more durable. Froch above Haye is a tough one, but he has beaten Jermain Taylor, and his other top win over Pascal has been enhanced by him beating Diaconu for the WBC 175lb title. Haye has been inactive, of his two signature victories, one hasn't fought since (I believe - do correct me) and the other lost by stoppage to a pretty average fighter. I don't want to split hairs on this one, it could easily be switched around.
My two pennies worth with explanations on the ones people might pick at: 1-Haye 2-Froch 3-Hatton (Only beaten by two of the best of his generation) 4-Khan 5-Woods (I'm not writing him off yet- he had an off night against Tarver) 6-Moore 7-Witter 8-Brook 9-Cleverly (Improved on his power and now deserves a top 10 place) 10-Mitchell (He'd be higher if it weren't for a terrible defence) Best list on here by miles:bbb.
Also, Beeston, this is the problem with P4P, mate. It's all just based on opinions and, at the end of the day, people always disagree as it's fantasy.
Yeah I tend to ignore it to be honest. There are far too many variables. Do you rank people on accomplishments - how far do you go back, is the opponent green, or faded.... That's why Mitchell is low on my list - you can only make an assumption as to how good he is.... IMO EBU/WBO level but no higher, was within one punch of being KO'd by Carl Johanneson, who was faded and was last seen in Yates's in Leeds city centre.
That's why Mitchell is so low on my list as well. Always exciting to watch but he'll be found out soon, IMO. As for Munroe, if I'm honest, I don't think he'll get past European level.
That's probably the one I'm least happy with. He's back soon, though, and if he beats Alexander then he'll be right back up there.
It probably has more to do with the fact that I like him as a person as well. Never moans and got off the drugs. Stop picking holes, Kos, you're only jealous of my list:naughty.
Last time I checked, Mitchell was in your top 10 Also, Rhodes is at a European level, meaning he is worthy of a place on the list :good
