    Being a bit hobbled lately, lung infection but on the mend now.
    Being watching a load of classic fights, especially 70 s and 90 s Heavyweight s.
    Really got me thru some crap days!

    Anyway, what's your comfort boxing from yesteryear guys?

    My "Comfort Boxing" would be the 1970s heavyweights and The Fab 4 of Duran,Hagler,Hearns and Leonard.

    Two guys who represent hundreds of great fighters, who were defo the goods, but the absence of titles, overshadowed by champions and not always getting the ink they deserved, as media exploits names for sales sake...

    My comfort fights would be a bit of Charlie Magri, Sibbo, Bruno, Kaylor, Errol Christie, Benn,Watson and early Eubank Snr.

    That should get you up and about in no time.

    Great to hear that you’re on the mend Ferg - a lung infection would’ve been absolute crap.

    Joe Louis is the guy I look to more than any other fighter. Perfect.

    Not quite the fab four, but definitely the fan favourite four; Boza, Chacon, Limon and Navarrete.
