Yep, I could watch Victor "Glass Heart" Ortiz get punched into quitting over and over. That post-fight interview was probably the worst I've ever seen. What an embarrassing ****.

My favourite fight of all-time is Duran vs Leonard 1. How many times in history have two of the greatest fighters ever been in the same ring, while both prime, and when both performed brilliantly? Not many. Plus my passion is infighting, and this fight is a very very high level example of this style. Duran is ferocious and just ****ing brilliant, Leonard shows us skills and toughness that he just shouldn't possess, both men become legends in that fight IMO. Nothing even comes close to touching it for me.
Micky Ward-Shea Neary (I bet not too many people remember or even know of this fight) Left uppercuts all night long baby!
SRL-Duran I Hagler-Hearns Vitali-Lewis Valero-Mosquera Ward-Gatti (all of them) Vazquez-Marquez (all of them) Valero-Mosquera Pac-Marquez I and II
Juan Manuel Marquez-Juan Diaz. A great struggle of heart and skill. True boxing mastery by JMM and a brave performance by the Baby Bull.
Duran-Barkley gets another vote as one of the best ever here. One of my all-time faves. I know it's not as highly rated, but Duran-Moore is very special too. It's the ultimate example of a young hotshot holding all the advantages swaggering into battle, and very quickly realizing the little man in front of him is an absolute Grand Master. You can literally feel the shock and horror enveloping Moore after he has dealt with Duran for a round or two. He was in no way prepared for Duran's ATG skills, technique and unbelievable toughness.
Yeah my top 5 aswell , seems like you know wot youre talking about , and how do you rate Siscthawal(?)-Monshipour? i think that fight is seriously underrated and half of ppl who call theirself boxing fans havent even seen it.
No question about it being entertaining, and it was credited by Ring Magazine as Fight of the Year if I'm not mistaken, so it's not totally unheralded. Many Boxing fans haven't seen it, and I think it's because the two combatants who took part in that unholy war are fairly irrelevant in world boxing. The skill level on display wasn't all that high either but no question, nobody will watch that fight and not be entertained. Doesn't make my top 10, incidentally.
