Hmm, I don't even know. Thing is while I watched many old fights, I've not seen em live since I only started following boxing (and even then it was quite casually at the time) since 2008. I gotta say whilst I never was a particularly big fan of Froch, his name seems to really stand out in my mind, same with Cotto. In particular Cotto Margarito fights and with Froch it'd be Kessler, Taylor, Bute fights. This is all just on TV BTW, I don't really go to live events, there's only been a couple of fights I even considered it.
That was a crazy one, Arakawa was freaking suicidal. One thing I do enjoy is when boxers are getting beat up totally but just keep coming like they don't give a f.
Ive seem lots of great fights over the years but 2 spring to mind 1... Ike Ibeabuchi - Tua. When that was announced we were on the old Prodigy Boxing BB Wgen I predicted Ike would win I was ridiculed as no one outside of Texas had heard of Ike. That was one hell of a fight& Ike won. After that people were saying"Where have you been hiding him" 2... Was very similar Margarito-Cotto 1 I was ridiculed again predicting a Margarito win. people were calling him The Statue etc. that was another great fight I proudly posted The Statue kicked ass didn't he lol. it wasn't really fair I suppose as I'd known both Ike and Tony along time before those fights Great memories
No, my fight training and being the toughest guy around was more important to me, something you know nothing about, but, at least you can pretend that your lonely pathetic life is worth something when you can use the correct grammar on internet.
And you need to learn to accept others peoples opinions without mindless insults. You seem to suffer from an overwhelming sense of your own importance...probably because you 've fought the toughest guys...cannot recall yo in with Shavers , Foreman, Lyle etc ....Lol
Live...at 10 years old the amateur boxing in the Olympics in 2000. I can't remember who fought but I had the time of my life. I also saw Evander Holyfield ringside and officials were nice enough to let me meet him and grab a photo. On ppv...the hype being a young Aussie between Mundine & Green was huge. I was never so excited to watch a ppv.
Kostya Tszyu-Zab Judah. I remember watching in a full pub in Sydney on Sunday afternoon. Tszyu was already quite popular and adopted as an Aussie at the time. I know how good and how hyped Zab was. Undefeated and touted as Pernell Whitaker with a punch. I was tensed and tbh quite concerned with Tszyu chances. First round was a shocker, Zab was quick with his offense and his favourite punch, the uppercut landed flush and rocked Tszyu. I thought he might not even get out of the round as Zab followed with his assault, but looking back Tszyu actually managed to roll most of those and tied him up. Round 2 for some reason Zab keep backing off and seems to be controlled at the end of Tszyu punches until baam, he got clocked hard and down he went, got up too quickly, fell down again and Nady waived it off. The whole place erupted. The melee occurred and the post fight lasted longer than the actual fight. One of the great fight memories.
How do you know I wasn't? You're right, I should accept your opinion (even if they are wrong) without insulting you (even if you deserve it), I just don't think boxing is the right sport for you.
Why be so insulting? Are you channeling prwales? You do not know me AT ALL I'll accept that you "don't think"... that's a given .
Ok were you ? As for what I deserve it appears that if anyone disagrees with your posts they are under attack...read back ...you went OTP ...very immature indeed on a discussion forum of any description...Sonny.
I had a hell of alot of fun being there live for Casamayor-Katsidis, I was sitting in the second row a few seats from Mosley, hopkins, Roach, Campbell, Ortiz ect... it was a great night, and great fight!!!
