Sean O’Grady (as a broadcaster on USA Network) on fighters making excuses — and the mentality a fighter has and has to have:

“If you lost, you weren’t at your best. Because if you were at your best, how could you lose?”

LOL. Dr Iron Mike was very resolute about his self diagnosis and clearly was not interested in anyone else’s second opinion. Jim Gray’s discretion allowed him to survive and continue interviewing for another day.

Lactating Lights Out Toney inviting Jim Gray to suckle?

In the same interview Toney also said he was “undestructible”. He obviously meant to say he was “inbeatable”.

"Sure there have been injuries and deaths in boxing - but none of them serious." - Alan Minter

Reporter: Why do they call you Mad Cow?
Pastor Maurin: Because I'm a horse!

Tyrone Trice called out James Toney on a USA Network fight, I think from Auburn Hills, Michigan.

James was present. Walked right up to the ring, grabbed the mic and said:

    “Bring yo ass, Tyrone.”

His tone made it clear he wasn’t playing. He meant right here, right now.

Classic. As if poor Chuck hadn’t already suffered enough at the hands of Ali. Et tu, Mrs Wepner? Aka bride of Chucky.
