    Jeff Horn vs Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao didn't take the fight serious and paid the price.

Joe Louis is my favorite heavyweight, but bizarrely I always loved this fight.

It just makes a perfect story.

I can definitely see where you are coming from here.

I badly underestimated Fury, and when he turned up in the Bat Man suit playing the clown, he seemed to have every hallmark of being another easy Klitschko victim.

I had noticed a few of his unorthodox tricks, but took them as signs of a lack of clear strategy.

When he clowned Klitschko, I suddenly saw what had been under my nose the whole time, that I had never picked up on!

Tokyo. Great backstory and Great fight. The last few rounds were real nail biters Tyson dropped douglas in the 8th and managed to wobble him again a few times in the 9th, including an uppercut just like theknockdown, as douglas was tiring a bit. But tyson was getting hit toomuch and paying too high of a price forevery shot he got in. Douglas kept his cool and finished tyson off in the10th.

That was probably the best ive ever seen a “big man“ fight

Ali vs Foreman, I will never forget coming home from school expecting to hear that my idol Ali had been smashed and my old man who was pretty " merry " from being down the boozer all day telling me that " Ali did it ".

Tyson vs Douglas is the other one that really stands out for me.

Leonard defeating Hagler was also a massive shock and as a Hagler fan I was shattered. Despite that I do believe Leonard won that fight.

From a personal point of view I really enjoyed Hopkins vs Trinidad, Hopkins vs Tarver and Hopkins vs Pavlik fights as I thought the bookies had all three wrong and I made a nice earn off all three.

    Cheers All.

Douglas-Tyson for the sheer enormity of it and Leonard-Hagler, as it would offer Rooster's neuroses a safe haven in which they could flourish and grow into the single-minded obsession that structures his life to this day.

And I thought Hagler was a poor sport.

I was like 6, don't remember this one live. But any time I watch and hear the commentators + the crowd, it's obvious something very strange and special happened there. 25-1 odds as well. Only time I've ever heard commentators more excited was the Mexico commentary after Pacquaio Marquez IV.

Foreman knocking out Michael Moorer. I was ecstatic, actually called my brother who isn't a boxing fan , and who was sleeping at the time, telling him all about it. I think it even topped the Washington Redskins winning any of their 3 Superbowls.

    Salvador Sanchez vs Wilfredo Gomez

Hard to believe in hindsight that Gomez was the favorite.

Hopkins over Trinidad is another one I enjoy

He was actually past his best when he beat Norris. He had been beaten up by Buddy McGirt two years earlier. Norris fought Brown's fight and Simon took advantage of Norris lack of durability. Norris easily outboxed him in the rematch.

My favorite upset occured a few months after Norris-Brown I.

    Frankie Randall-JC Chavez I.

This upset had nothing to do with Chavez fighting the wrong fight - Randall simply outfought Chavez. Then, he backed it up in the rematch, but was victimized by WBC politics.

Although, admittedly, it has very little historical significance, I have to give a shout out to: Broner-Maidana.

It finally stopped the bull **** madness of discussing Broner as a great fighter just because he won a couple paper titles in set up fights. He was, is, and will always be a classless, ignorant hype job.
