    Thoroughly enjoyed Nate getting owned by Benson, which got me thinking about other one-sided fights that were still good to watch.

    Sure the greatest fights are back and forth affairs. But sometimes, every combat sports fans just enjoy seeing somebody soak up a hiding. :lol:

    For me, I'm always impressed with BJ Penn knocking Diego Sanchez's brains out and pretty much looking bored while doing it. :lol:

    Always nice seeing GSP beat the living **** out of Kos over 5 rounds pretty much with the jab alone as well. :lol:

    What are some prolonged beatdowns that you have enjoyed for one reason or another? :think

    GSP/Kos II was impressive, but yeah, not particularly exciting.

    Nothing against Shogun, but I loved watching Jones break him down. I've been a Jones fan since day one, and seeing him win the belt in such a dominant fashion was very satisfying for me.

    After watching Kos be such an arrogant, bullying ******* the whole way through the TUF season, it was fun watching GSP just calmly ruin him and turn him into a helpless, ineffective speed bag. :lol:

    Yeah that was very much a "WTF - this is not supposed to happen" type fight. I mean, Shogun looked like a helpless child in there. Like he couldn't have won that fight if someone handed him a baseball bat between rounds. And win or lose, he NEVER looks like that. :conf

    Don't want to be a dick but....you call a fight that Kongo was too....well...too Kongo to not finish the fight a one sided beating from Cain ?

    BJ Penn vs Joe Stevenson was one sided & so impressive on BJ Penns part, he is still one of my favourite fighters despite recent form, that fight was bloody and brutal!

    Anderson Silva vs Forest Griffen was the tipping point for 'the spider' imo, everyone realised after this fight how good he really was, Forest was used to being in wars hit back and forth all over the cage and was pretty much in his prime at that point, and Silva made him look silly and child like at times.

    I would call it very one sided. Not while viewing but in hindsight, if I remember correctly, every big punch/kd lead to a takedown and GnP. So dominance in seconds/minutes falls heavily in Cains favour.

    Yeah, Kongo hurt him at the beginning of all three rounds, but was otherwise completely dominated.
