Cause ranking individuals based on 'what ifs' is useless. Even though Overeem's been winning in devastating fashion, his recent competition has been poor outside of Brett Rogers. Until he fights and beats some ranked opponents, putting Alistair as the #4 HW is completely unjustifiable outside of pure speculation.

You may believe Overeem has better skills than JDS, but you can't argue Dos Santos has the better wins.

 

1. JDS - Easily dispatched Werdum and Gonzaga. Handled Cro Cop impressively.
2. Werdum - Beating the great Fedor so quickly earns him this spot.
3. Lesnar - Long layoff due to health scare. Should take care of Carwin sat night.
4. Fedor - Does not deserve to plummet too long. Werdum is a top-quality operator.
5. Carwin - If he destroys Lesnar with those hamhocks of his he obviously moves up.
6. Velasquez - Brutal kayo of Nog keeps him in the forefront.
7. Overeem - Formidable Dutchman was Fedor's biggest threat before recent upset of the Russian star.
8. Barnett - Could have possibly been the man to derail Fedor Express before testing positive for a banned substance. This man is a top-quality operator.
9. Mir - Two beatdowns by giants Lesnar and now carwin have faded his star.
10. Cro Cop - Legendary veteran gets a nice win recently against Pat Barry.

People said Yvel and CC would fuk him up on there feet but sure didn't happen. Reem still has to prove more in mma HW K1 doesn't count in mma. I'm not saying Reem won't prove himself but his next couple fights will show us.

I don't think so. At least 2 guys are better than Lesnar & Carwin outside of the ufc in Fedor and Overeem. Even Barnett and Werdum have a good chance to beat them. It's an intriguing fight nevertheless.

 

At present, I don't believe any of those guys can be ranked above Brock or Carwin winner.

They deserve to be ahead of Werdum, and Werdum beat Fedor. What am I supposed to do? Rank Werdum ahead of Dos Santos when Dos Santos knocked him the **** out.

If Fedor can even the score against Werdum, he'll climb several spots on my list. I wish you guys would stop trying to get Fedor's dick in your mouth, come up for air, and give in to rationale.

Muhammad Ali was once the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. When Ali lost to Frazier and later Ken Norton, he was no longer the greatest of all time. He did come back to be the best heavyweight on the planet, but was still short of his peak. When Ali lost to Leon Spinks, he was no longer the best heavyweight in the world.

Fedor was once the greatest mma fighter of all time. Fedor is probably on the downside of his peak, but in fairness it's too soon to tell. Fedor may rise to the top of the division, even the sport, yet again.

Still, he just lost to Werdum.

And what has Reem done at HW mma? The point of Yvel is that he beat him standup which is impressive considering most guys take Yvel down to avoid his standup game. JDS ktfo Yvel which doesn't happen to him. CC is the only guy to get out of the first round with him.

 

yes you rank fedor who has been the king of the heavyweight division above fighters who has never won the title. I could understand lesnar being ahead of fedor since he is the reigning ufc champion but Dos Santos-Cain and Carwin should not be.

Carwin is an interim champ until he beat lesnar that's all he would be.
