    last three fights, and do you think he will defeat Mayweather if they meet next year?:think

    My prediction record over Pac's last three fights is 1-2.

    I picked him to beat Hatton. :good

    I thought De La Hoya would have too much weight for him. :mad:

    And, I thought Cotto would have a style advantage and a bit of extra weight as well. :twisted:



    Being a glutton for punishment I'm picking Floyd to emerge victorious in their proposed match-up.

    i didnt make a call against delahoya...
    but a minute after that fight i said, he'll destroy hatton.
    then i sat and thought about it once the hatton fight was made, and made my mind up that he couldnt beat hatton, hatton would be naturally too big, too good and too strong, so i picked hatton.
    against cotto, i couldnt pick..
    against mayweather, well, i'll pick mayweather, based on styles.

    I'm not picking Mayweather/Pac yet but I'll just say I believe this is a distance fight and it will be close.

    All these other fights never had the prospect of being close. Even if I'd have been wrong on the outcome there was no way Hatton/Cotto could outbox Pacquiao it was all about a punch landing and Pac not being able to take it and it ending early. Otherwise they couldn't win.

    But now we know there is no prospect of that.

    I think Mayweather will win on points. I thought Hatton would win and I didn't care about the DLH fight coz I thought it was dumb.

    That's what I thought, and I believe it was the general consensus (on ESB forum anyway - TFFP notwithstanding:good).

    I was just sick of the fact that DLH was still in boxing. The proposal and promotion of it and the fight itself irked me. Fair play to Pac tho he had a job to do and he did it.

    I ended up 2-1 for Pac I actually picked DLH to beat him believe it or not.

    I'm still undecided on my pick for the Mayweather fight but I hope Pac destroys him for the good of boxing.
