I think I've posted about 4 or 5 different lists since the Mosely fight!!! But this is my definitive P4P top ten now, taking into account Joe's retirement as well;

Top 3 I think are pretty much a shoe in.

I've had a change of heart on B-Hop who I had consistently put lower down the P4P list (around 8-10), having reviewed his CV, fights and others on the list, I genuinely cant put him below the rest.

Cotto has jumped Marg and Mosely for me following Shane's victory. If Marg is found guilty he drops out completely. I still think Cotto can beat Marg in a rematch and so he stays above Marg.

Williams sneaks in at the expense of Rafa Marquez, Kessler and Vic. Rafa Marquez is out due to inactivity and Izzy will go the same very soon!

Dawson is getting a lot of mentions. Maybe it's just me underrating him, but there are still a fair few names above him before the top ten.

If Winky pulls his finger out this year he could rocket back in.

based also on his fights before his layoff and the fact that he doesnt seem to have lost any of it.

recently there was a poll asking who was better between Vitali and Wald and about 75% voted Vitali. And i've seen alot of ppl put Wlad in the top10

Are you crazy? Lopez on a P4P list? Based on what? He has one solid win, vs. the powerful but extremely mediocre PDL. Great 1st round win, no doubt, but that's awfully weak compared to the competition. I don't rate for example Hozumi Hasegawa or Roman Gonzalez just yet, despite them being the best in their division, and I could name a dozen other fighters (but I won't) who has a better resume than JuanMa at this point. Lopez has the potential and a pretty good run. But let's just wait and see if he can build up a P4P worthy resume.

 

i view p4p on how you look in your recent fights. that's why an unknown guy would suddenly enter p4p top 10 just like when pacquiao beat barerra at 126 and taylor beating hopkins at 160. ..or donaire suddenly being top 20 p4p with a win...if lopez fights vasquez or marquez today, the odds would be even.

if it is based on resume..then hopkins would be ahead of calzaghe considering the pavlik fight more than offset his lost to calzaghe..
