All true. He also rushes in exposing himself. His offense is very predictable and utilizes no feints.

But he's also got amazing raw talents. If he can polish his game more, he's got a chance to do great things.

Berto's chin is much better than Khan's. Berto is Evander Holyfield compared to Khan. Berto is nothing like Khan, nothing at all.

Khan failed his first test against a true puncher but Berto has yet to even step up to the plate. There's a reason Dibella has publically stated that he won't let him near near Williams or Margarito. Clottey has basically called him out after winning the IBF and has had no response either.

Now I hear Berto wants in on the Pacquiao sweepstakes. I would laugh if featherfisted Collazo KTFO Berto.

Only if he polishes his game noticeably. He relies way too much on his raw talents to get the job done. Someone slick who can counter well might hurt him coming in. Heck, Forbes stunned Berto a couple of times because he's so anxious and predictable in his attack. I'm not saying he won't do great things, but he does have flaws.

Berto's defense is underrated imo. He's good at rolling his shoulders and covering up and he has good movement defensively. His only flaws are those that usually accompany young fighters, meaning he loses focus and sometimes gets overconfident. If other fighters are want to challenge him, they better get him now before he matures and becomes a great fighter. Even an immature Berto will stop Collazo.

Berto's flaws are obvious just as his young age is. His management team has done a tremendous job with bringing him along against the proper opposition thus far. Collazo is the natural next step for Berto and it will be in this fight that Berto establishes himself as a formidable entry into the welter weight elite category.

Somewhere between the first and second options. I think he's got decent enough reflexes, some skills and a good combination of speed & power, though he does have flaws, his defence and chin both still have question marks over them, but mainly his defence, which should improve over time. I don't think he'll be a superstar or a legend, but I don't think he'll be one of these guys who fails whenever they step up to take on the top guys. I think once he does take on the best in his division, whoevr they may be at the time, he'll sometimes when, sometimes lose.

I agree that it's been proper opposition because I have a fairly low opinion of Berto's prospects. I am surprised that someone who thinks highly of him believes it's been proper opposition though, I must admit. He hasn't been at all prepared for what he'll face on Saturday on multiple levels. For his sake, we'll have to hope Collazo will be paralyzed by the speed like the others he's faced. It's just about Berto's only hope for the scorecards. If Collazo comes forward, and counters, consistently undetered, it's going to be a disaster for Berto.

He is far to predictable even for a fast guy like he is.

Definately agreed, thunder. You have been saying it all along from the beginning. On Saturday, people will get a chance to see how right you've been.

He's going down saturday.I never liked him and his hype and Collazo is the right man to do it,hungry, young, prime,at a natural weight, southpaw and has better power than people give him credit for.
