Khan fought Maidana who arguably hit harder than Valero or just as hard. He survived him and knocked down Maidana early on in the process. Alexander was at 140 knocking out Urango a month after Valero beat Demarco. Assuming Valero would move upto 140 i can only go on the top talent now and some of the top talent then. I just don't think he beats Crawford at lightweight to be honest. He would try to make it competitive but wouldn't beat him. He would beat Miguel Vasquez, Mickey Bey, Ricky Burns etc comfortably, though. Valero was world class no doubt about it but i don't think he could move up a notch like Pacquiao did going up against Cotto and destroying him.
Um no. Judah was trying to milk the punch as a low blow he wasn't hurt and could have easily continued. It was a quit job which Judah had already done before when he fought Clottey.
In sparring? Did he **** up Oscar in a real boxing match behind closed doors or something. The biggest guy Valero fought in the ring was Demarco and he didn't do a butcher job like Pacquiao did against Cotto.
Um yes. Khan hit Judah with a body punch and he didn't get up so yes Khan dispose of Judah in a matter of rounds whereas he went 12 with both Judah and Garcia.
no he broke the mans will and made him quit on his stool which is even harder for a proper man to except:yep
Judah could have gotten up he chose to fake and try and have the referee think it was a low blow. That was a joke of a win for Khan.
I also think it's feasible that valero could have beaten Alexander. Matthysse gave him a good fight, arguably beat him so Valero would have a legit chance imo. at 140 Valero would have been up against some (excellent) bigger guys so it would be difficult but then Floyd, Pac, Marquez and many others have gone up in weight so who knows. 135 would have suited him best imo and he could have been damn good at that weight.
That's your opinion (he looked in real pain to me just like Maidana but Maidana is mentally and physically tougher) but it doesn't matter even if that was the case. The fact is Khan disposed of him when those others couldn't. He either stopped him or made him quit which the others couldn't do.
Average resume, Elite level potential. He clearly didnt reach his peak before he murdered his wife and killed himself, but you can never be sure how good he was. Peope hailed Demarco as proof he was in the Elite league but Demarco was only ever a B-/C+ fighter at best.
Dont think it matters. Valero fought a slightly better Demarco. Valero would have beaten Broner the pretender in any case.
broner fought him about 2 and a half years later demarco was coming into the fight against valero with a 16 fight streak without a loss valero battered him into submission I thought it was very impressive win considering valero was also fighting with a v@gina on his forehead
