    Wasnt there an NBA player from the 70's also named Gus Johnson?

    Is he the same guy?

    They should replace Bernstein, i can't stand that guy. In fact i don't like the entire Showtime commentator team. Too biased, too much of a whiny voice.

    I miss Steve Albert, although Gus did an adepquate job in the Arce fight, Steve brought more enthusiam and excitement.

    So why was he let go? Did Showtime just feel they needed a change???

    I think Gus did okay. He'll get better as he does more fights.
    Still disappointed at Showtime replacing Steve Albert.
