Very nice, but a few of its sentences, plus the angle in general, is strangely similar to one Adam Berlin wrote. Coincidence, or I am failing to recognize duel handles?
Nobody cares about Arum. Nobody cares to see Pac rip Rios a new one... This is just a fight to make Arum some money.
The information about pro boxing's move into Asia is interesting and worth reading. The sarcasm about Bob, whether deserved or not, overwhelms the article and comes off sounding petty and, in my eyes, unprofessional.
Arum may be a douche at times but he is a pioneer and a trailblazer at this brave venture into the vast and untapped Asian markets for our sport. And for that alone, he deserves at least a begrudging credit from real fightfans.
It's not really much of a venture in this case unless he finds success beyond Zou Shiming being on these cards as the unofficial main event. China gets behind their athletes so Zou Shiming doing well in China is a no brainer. If they can host boxing successfully beyond that(or it inspires a wave of Chinese boxers that continue beyond Zou), then that's a different story.
