How could you justify Pacquiao being #1?

That would be as bad as having Paul Williams #9.

    1. Mayweather
    2. Pacquiao
    3. Marquez
    4. Donaire
    5. Ward
    6. Sergio
    7. W. Klitschko
    8. Bradley
    9. V. Klitschko

VERY few people said that. Literally almost no one. The overwhelming majority thought Pac would blow him away. Pac was the 9:1 favorite.

And, more importantly, that should have no bearing on P4P stature. None. If that's the case, I could say that I don't rank Mayweather on the basis that I knew he was going to win going into every fight. Odds simply don't matter. Irrelevant.

Swap gamboa with pong and the ring ratings are fine.

P4p is so mis-understood today. Its not about who fights more or who wins by knockout. Its about who you think would win head to head all things being equal. Outside of *******s, most would pick floyd to beat pac. We have seem jmm handle pac at least twice in three fights.

    1. Floyd
    2. Jmm
    3. Pac
    4. Ward
    5. Martinez

Wlad and vitali have no business making anyones top five.

I see it more as an appreciation of what a fighter has done recently.

As do most people. I just can't look at it any different. It becomes too subjective that way.

It is subjective any way you look at it, that's why not much value is placed on it.

Well it depends on how "lately" you mean. If this was the case then Ward would be #1 P4P for being the only guy to fight and beat the number 2 boxer in his division within the last 2 months

haha-all the lil ******* bitches sayin it's "*****s"...ur fault-look at the numbers and ***** and moan *******s-you'll find that this poll is legit to ESB-

Many polls on ESB have "alts" voting over and over again-you'll find that in other forums, the numbers USUALLY are much more wide (post JMM-Pac 3) in favor of Floyd-

but keep it kinda close alts!

Don't have to be a fan of floyd to see he's the best boxer in the world.

If the fight had been made between floyd and pac we'd have seen the odds reflect the fact the fight isn't 50-50.
