What the **** is ability when you don't fight? The sport of boxing is a lot more than tangible skill. ****! I'm sure many posters here have better hand speed, foot work and possibly better skill than a fighter like margarito, yet I'm sure we would all get demolished. Mayweather needs to fight to even be considered no.1
P4P Top 5. I took out mayweather from my list due to him having legal issues outside, and overall inactivity. I don't know if he will still fight in 2011. 1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Juan Manuel Marquez 3. Sergio Gabriel Martinez 4. Wladimir Klitschko 5. Fernando Montiel
1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Floyd Mayweather 3. Juan Manuel Marquez 4. Sergio Garbiel Martinez 5. Wladimir Klitschko
S**t, I must be the only one thinking Marquez is great but a bit overrated nowadays if you put him in the top 5 P4P... getting outclassed by Mayweather and beating Diaz & Katsidis in your most recent fights don't cut it 4 me. There's a lot other ppl that deserve that spot more than him, IMO.
Manny Pacquaio Juan Manuel Marquez Sergio Martinez Floyd Mayweather tough to pick a 5th one, there aren't alot of guys who've been good consistently for a long period of time. The Ring has Nonito Donaire who is talented but has he's done very little, he has still only had 24 fights. Either Pongsaklek Wongjongkam or Wladimir Klitshchko have built up good resumes lacking a really big win or two but very solid and longlasting. I have Mayweather below Martinez and Marquez due to his lack of activity, they've both done more in the last couple of years. I'm not sure Mayweather will even fight again anyway.
I. Floyd Mayweather Jr. II. Manny Pacquiao III. Juan Manuel Marquez IV. Sergio Martinez V. is up in the air for me at this point.
Pacquiao Mayweather Martinez Marquez Wlad I don't know about 5th, there's Wlad, Bute and Juanma Lopez up there but I think I could be convinced by either Khan, Bradley or Pascal if they do something special in their upcoming fights but for now I'll put Wlad in there.
