Terence Crawford is the clear #1 right now. Usyk and Inoue are interchangeable for the #2 and #3 spot. All depends on if you prefer Inoue's activity against Usyk beating someone he had already stopped for the #2 spot.

Couple of pointers as I’m new here. I tend to consider the below in terms of priority when doing P4P rankings in this order:

    1. Natural size relative to competition in the weight class (ie Bivol would be considered a small but natural LHW, and Devin Haney would be considered a very big and unnatural light/superlightweight when he fought there)
    2. Objective skill and level of recent performance relative to the quality of the opponent
    3. Accomplishments and recent level of Activity

Usyk and Crawford are 1A and 1B. Usyk tops it for me because of activity. 3 fights in 15 months, giving up no less than a stone in weight each time. With Bud’s win over Canelo, he can absolutely go #1.

    But here we go.

    1. Oleksandr Usyk
    2. Terence Crawford
    3. Naoya Inoue
    4. Dmitry Bivol
    5. Jesse Rodriguez
    6. Artur Beterbiev
    7. Junto Nakatani
    8. Canelo Alvarez
    9. Shakur Stevenson
    10. Oscar Collazo

    Be nice.

I'd have to give fleshing out a full ten some thought. I don't keep a running p4p list, haven't in many years.

Top five is definitely Usyk/Inoue (whichever order; it's debatable, but they're my clear 1A and 1B right now) followed closely by Crawford, followed by the Russian light heavyweight archrivals.

Bam is overrated IMO, as he doesn't belong above anyone I've listed there but some people have him top 5.
