After watching Freddy Roach going into this fight so calm cool and collected,and then watching how he conducted himself afterwards,ive more respect than ever before. He is a legitamate top trainer worthy of all the accolades he gets. As for Floyd Snr....well you only need to go back and look at all he said pre fight to see just how wrong he was in every single department. He is good for a laugh if nothing else i suppose,so who is the joke of a coach now then??
Same as before. I always thought Mayweather was an overrated clown and Freddy was the best in the game. I still think so.
I really doubt Mayweather had been working on Hatton charging into Pac and swinging wildly. He can't teach an old dog new tricks but a young boxer would only benefit from having that man in his corner.

I looked at the 24/7 interveiws again and Floyd was so damn adamant Hatton was going to come out and box his ears off.....how can a coach get it so wrong?? It may be that Floyd would be good for some young boxer,but thats acompletely different level from the top echelon of boxers that benefit from a good caoch. Floys may be good to a certain level, and he does have some knowledge that could be of benefit to many. But he really must stop with the making out he is simply the best because he is only good trainer, and not great one like he spouts off that he is.
i remembered a segment on 24/7 where floyd sr said that Hatton was an italian stallion and roach only got a mule in Pac. made me laugh right now...
I always knew Roach was brilliant but my opinion of Mayweather has gone back to what it once was. I think he is overrated and his ego gets in the way of what he is actually hired to achieve.
