When a boxer makes it out of the round

    What other fights do you know of where a boxer got hit with a big shot, and was being attacked continuously for the round and just barely making it to the bell?

    Prime example would be Khan vs Maidana when khan had to run for the full round after being hit by a huge right.

    Ray Robinson was knocked completely out of the ring by Jake LaMotta in their first fight and was saved by the bell at the count of nine. Robinson went on to lose the fight anyway, his first loss. See my avatar.

    No footage of their first fight though? Damn shame, also Robinson was smaller.

    And Robinson was taller. Why deny LaMotta his victory? Maybe Robinson took him lightly in the first fight?

    I've only ever seen footage of the sixth fight. Do we know if there is any footage of the others? LaMotta had Robinson down three times in their fights and said in his book he believed he won three of them.....
