    do they actually take your belt or do you keep it and they give the new champ their own belt///esb help me out

    They keep the belt.

    I remember this anecdote.

    Right after Alcine beat Simms, Simm's belt was lent to Alcine for pictures. Seconds after the photographers were done, Simms ripped "his" belt off Alcine's hands and left the building... :D

    One time I remember something different is when Roy got DQ'd against Griffin. He took off his belt and gave it to the flopping Montell.

    I guess the pictures will have to wait till the new champ gets his own belt.

    Normally the old champ will respect those proceedings.
