When a fighter is fined for not making weight how much $ goes to thw opponent

    Just curious I heard Broner was fined $60,000 how much would escobedo make from that.

    I read half goes to the commision so Escobedo makes $30,000.

    But broner isn't getting that money if the fight doesn't go through because he failed to make weight correct?

    It seems as though if escobedo was going to make $180,000 and Broner defaults on the contract he should have to pay him more. This is the business end of boxing and if you aren't professional enough to honor your commitment the penalties should he greater

    Yeah Broner won't get paid if the fight doesn't go ahead.. It's in the balance at the moment.
