How can you idiots overlook the fact that he was fighting a cheater who failed to make weight?. The entire fight was deemed irrelevant at the weigh in and Lomachenko's team are beyond stupid to go on with the fight. The cheating scumbag already had all the advantages going for him.

 

Loma's team would've been well within their rights to pull out and protect their fighter from a guy who had absolutely no interest in keeping things on the level.

That said, I'm glad Lomachenko went through with it, even knowing the outcome. He'll get more out of this fight, even with the loss, than he'll have gotten had everything gone according to plan and he picked up the W. Taking a long-term view of it, last night will prove to be a positive for him even if he's leaving with a 1-1 record.

He just got a crash course in the real world of pro boxing where the deck can be stacked against you a dozen ways and idiot fans will still attack you for not overcoming it. And, idiot fans will attack you for overcoming it, because boxing fans in general are a miserable lot.

 

Top Japanese are pro ready, top world amateurs not ready. It's why lot if prospects are treat like babies.

 

Lomachenko lost to Laurence Cole.................the referee stopped the Bowe/Golota fight beause of low blows, Hell, Salido landed on Lomachenko's legs, hips, balls, etc., punches on the break, and held much worse than Lomachenko did early...........................so, reverse the decision of Bowe/Golota................

 

Loma outlanded Salido 37% to 22%. He also thew less punches but landed more numerically. He suffered from low blows and would have stopped Salido in the 12th if not for the excessive holding Cole did nothing about...
