Basically complete mismatches, I'll name a few

Both Liston vs Patterson fights - enough said

Tyson vs Golota - Not only for the beating Golota took, his complete ineffectiveness, and the fear, getting a shower of popcorn, beer and various other drinks thrown on him during his escape from the ring.

Rahman vs Meehan - a much lesser known mismatch. Meehan was 6'5 and 237lbs, had lost a close decision to Lamon Brewster and broke Brewster's jaw. Rahman though beat the living crap out of him though. Meehan's punches had no effect, and Rahman pounded him relentlessly for 4 rounds, bloodying Meehan, before the beating was halted after 4 rounds.

I wouldn’t call any professional fighter a “boy” but some mismatches? Many of Wilfredo Gomez’s title defences were against boxers who weren’t ready for that level of work. I see Gene Tunney vs Jack Dempsey as a dominant performance. Carlos Monzon vs Jose Napoles was rough.

A literal case of man v boy was Antonio Cervantes against 17-year-old Wilfred Benitez. And the boy won.

eh, let me defend Golota. That KD had slipped a disc in his neck, broken his orbital bone, and given him a concussion. He was way more hurt than he appeared to be, and he knew it.

The real issue was just how his coach handled it. Had his coach just waved it off — like plenty of other guys who have quit on the stool — would not have been a big deal. It was his coach trying to force him back out there that led to the **** show.

I am going to be controversial...Chavez-Taylor I. I know that on some level, Taylor was "winning," and ahead on judges cards, but the beating he took was horrific, and he never really recovered.
