When all is said and done GGG's era will overshadow FMJ's cherry era.

Kovalev was the one who blew it last time both camps were trying to make Stevenson-Kovalev. His contract expired with HBO after the first Pascal fight and the only reason the fight didn't happen was because Kovalev PULLED OUT when he resigned with HBO. Stevensons team was there for the purse bid and Kovalevs people didn't show up despite Kovalevs team saying that networks wouldn't be a problem because he would not be with HBO after the Pascal fight.

Stevenson was to blame the first time.

Kovalev is to blame the second time.

As a Kovalev fan thats the truth.

    Please
    Mosley legacy > GGG
Mosley moved up 2 divisions and beat a prime Oscar. Oscar was the taller man with the bigger frame, longer reach. Mosley was a 2-1 underdog. Mosley had only 2 fights at Welter prior.
If Ward beats Kovalev, then GGG MUST fight Ward. Period.

How can that happen when at 34 your best win is Martin Murray? No GGG fan has dared to try and defend that. GGG can't surpass the PBF era because he's spent too much of his career fighting C level fighters taking step aside money mandos dragging up career WWs to fight at the MW limit and not daring to be great and ducking Ward. GGG has about 2 or 3 years left he's almost out of time he already gets hit too much and will slow down even more. You want a real laugh take a look at where PBF's career was at 34 and where GGG's career is now at 34.:risas3::risas3::risas3:

Floyd's win over Chicanito trumps GGG'S whole resume, and that was in Floyd's 18th pro fight!!:dancer2:

Exactly! GGG's resume is a cruel joke. His fans have no shame. I made a list last week of 35 current fighters who have fought better opposition than GGG and I only went from HW to WW had I kept going to Strawweight I could have easily named 50.

Not enough names on Golovkins resume to be even considered an ATG. Hell, he's gonna be lucky to have three 50-50 fights by the time he retires.

Kovalev ...vicious style....,got a 50 year old in the ring...got Pascal, beat his head in, and got him to sign for a 2nd fight ....got ward lol

I guess kova is just lucky ....that Golovkin seems like the only guy with no luck

I like how "luring stevenson " is a thing to u now when it's convenient ....but when we mention why ggg can't fight Lara it becomes "well he's a showtime haymon guy can't make that fight "...lol.....

Golovkin has a potential shot at finishing greater than Hagler IF:
Alimkhanuly is an ATG in the unpaid ranks. If he ends up as good as he was in the unpaid ranks, he will be a monster name. Quigley was also truly elite in unpaid ranks. Those two names would be huge PROVIDING THEY ARE AS GOOD AS THEY WERE IN UNPAID RANKS.

Derevyanchenko, Jacobs and Canelo are also all elite names. That'll be enough for me to consider him 3rd greatest MW ever and a true ATG. (At the moment, Hagler is 5th).

Otherwise I only see him finishing as a Kostya Tszyu level HOF which is still pretty damn awesome.

What Mayweather era? You must have meant the Pacquiao era.

I wouldn't say GGG has an era yet, in the way that Pacquiao did.

The lasts time I checked PBF was the best fighter of this era. Pac's own trainer Roach even said this.:deal:
