When all is said and done GGG's era will overshadow FMJ's cherry era.

Thank you sir. While i disagree with you on Loma being the best ever i think we can both agree he is an absolutely sensational fighter and on his way to being the best p4p.

    What a joke.

Manny got beat so y'all have moved on to golovkin? SMH Floyd is an ATG, and does not belong in the same sentence as triple g.

This is the one fight i give Floyd full credit for. Corrales while not great was one of the best in that division at the time and he got absolutely obliterated by Floyd. At the time i was a huge Floyd fan as i thought that was the begining of floyd cleaning out all the top names in the sport. Needless to say it didnt turn out that way.

I struggle to see how GGG surpasses Floyd in greatness. The man is 35 years old and his nick name is the Bum King for a reason. Unless he moves up and beats both DeGale and Jack, then moves up again to beat Ward-Kovalev winner, then we can talk. Until then, don't look at me with a straight face and call The Bum King a great fighter. Unless you're a Bumluvkinite, you'll get laughed out of this board.

Holy ****. My God. I've heard it all. People consider Diego Corrales a great fighter...

    Heard it all now.

You consider Margarito a great fighter, so WTF IS your problem? Chico was a better fighter than cheato and he didn't have to plaster up to accomplish what he did in his boxing career.. log off.

Don't trash Margarito. He's a legend and my favorite fighter.

Cotto's a sissy who capitalized on Margarito's bad eye.

Wow I wished that GGG is five years younger.

Just a couple of more years for GGG.

Canelo will be only 28 by then, lots of time. He can fight GGG in 5 years more.

I think one thing very overlooked by most including you are both sides of the table.
Take Oscar and Mosley like you named, disregarding the fact they ducked earlier looking specifically when they did fight.
Oscars may not have been absolute prime but his recent history was a tough loss to an ATG in his 6th division followed by a KO win of a top 2/3 JMW Champ in Mayorga, if you look at the rankings there was no better JMW Champ than Hoya and his showings at 154 vs Mayorga and Mayweather were his best in years at his then best weight looking at pro's and cons don't see how you can completely write off that victory.

As for Mosley looking strictly at when they fought Mosley was the clear #1 WW only other guy was PAC who ducked Shane and arguably Floyd at that time. What WW was a better opponent or coming off a better win. Yeah not as good as prime Mosley but again looking at all angles can't see how you write it off completely.
You have to look at all angles both Mosley and Hoya showed leading in they could compete still at the top of the division. Usually i also look at what they did after neither looked the same but Hoya's next two bouts came at weights they hadnt been at in years(Hoya@47) or looked bad at(Mosley@54).

To be fair, neither Corrales nor Margarito were great fighters. They were good fighters who made impressive David and Goliath type matches with May and Pac because of how huge they were for the divisions they fought in.
