Based on what? Who in the current mw division is equal to the versions of Castillo, corrales, odlh, Hatton, Canelo, cotto, pacquiao and Hernandez that mayweather fought? I'd say Canelo (obviously) and Jacobs who is on par with Hatton. Beyond that there's not much within ggg's "era" that matches up to what Floyd dealt with. Not to mention the multiple jumps in weight class.

Scarecrow has this bizarre idea about Margarito being some sort of ungodly boxing destroyer. I felt like pointing out to him that while being a good above average fighter he's even less impressive than Corrales, and they both get overrated because of who they lost to. It's similar to how overblown Canelo's and Maidana's reputations have gotten after they lost to Mayweather too.

Your first point about Oscar is laughable. Oscar was an old 34,dealing with addiction, hadnt fought for a year before the Floyd fight so im not sure what youre talking about when saying he was the best jmw at the time. There was nearly a two year layoff between the Hopkins and Mayorga fight. The Mayorga he beat was more interested in smoking cigarettes and doing drugs then boxing. Mayorga was nowhere near what he was when he beat Vernon Forrest. Oscar was at his peak when he first fought Moseley in 2000 and the last fight you can consider prime was the last Moseley fight but he was on the decline. After that with the drugs and inactivity he fell off a cliff an was nowhere near the fighter we saw in the 90s and early 2000s.
IN the nearly 4 years after the second mosely fight Oscar fought 3 times! His first fight back was at 160lbs because he couldnt get down to 154 nevermind ww because of all the drugs and alcohol. Go watch the fight he looked bloated, slow and sloppy. Sure he was still an able fighter but was not anything close to what he was. 154 was not Oscars best weight come on man.

If he goes 50 and 0 continuing his KO streak and takes out Ward, Canelo, Rameriz, Chavez Jr, Lara, and the Chrarlo Bro Andrade and a few other then maybe. GGG is a beast no doubt but he has a looooooooooooong way to go and a lot to prove yet. I am a fan of GGG but lets no get carried away

If you think Trippa G overshadows anything that Floyd has accomplished your not a fan of boxing just a groupie.

I know right. Diego Corrales is certainly not a great fighter. People are crazy. He's elite but losing the Casamayor, Castillo rivalries should prevent him from making HOF.

The Judah win defecates and urinates on ANYTHING on Bumlovkin's resume.

PS - The Triple Duck does NOT get credit for fights which have NOT happened, Einstein. Wake me when the Triple Duck fights someone with a PULSE...
