When analysing Floyd vs Manny, we came upon this ?

Floyd counters with single shots while JMM counters with 4-5 punch combinations (2-3 of which normally land) that enabled him to hang with Pac!

Pacquiao's 2 punch combination = 1 punch (leaning right straight) hold technique - the same punch he usually use and then hold watch the Hatton fight. As for Pacquiao's EFFECTIVE punch. You obviously didn't see Hatton-Pacquiao and Pacquiao-Diaz.

During the first round, you would hardly see Pacquiao's right hook landing on Hatton's face. Mayweather KD Marquez but Marquez was never really hurt. On the other hand Pacquiao KD Marquez, Marquez was hurt he didn't even realized that he was going to Pacquiao's corner after the bell rang.

 

This fight is simple.

It all comes down to whether or not Mayweather can hurt Pac. Mayweather is obviously gonna outbox Pac. That's a fact. And if you wanna debate that do it on your own time.

The thing is, Pac was takin some serious punches from Cotto, and Mayweather is not a serious puncher.

Mayweather is obviously a superior boxer than Cotto, but if Mayweather can't hurt Pac, he's in at least some trouble. And what this means is that we'll see Mayweather in a real fight.

Well said dude. I want Pacquiao to win. I'm slightly leaning to Mayweather just because Mayweather has good reflex although I'm not sure if his reflex will hold for 12 rounds. Pacquiao is very very persistent. :bbb

Wow you proved your point. Though you did not. Marquez was hurt and said he was hurt after the fight. Marquez proceeded to get up and whoop Pacmans ass after the knockdown and treat him like a bobble head. Marquez did not do that to Floyd. I seen Hatton Pacman and Hatton fought more ******ed than ever before. He shown NO regard to defense at all the whole time and Pac was still missing shots. Diaz..... shut the **** up. And in the above clip Barrera aint running he is boxing when the other guy is trying to brawl b/c he cant win by boxing. Barrera is jabbing him moving to his left and the other guy is chasing flailing punches. The point is nimrod is that is not Barrera's style of fight and he just chose the style b/c that is the way to beat Pacqiao. Mayweather is 10 times better and more effective than Barrera using this style. The openings will be there. Pac will reach to land his shots and he still cant cut the ring off.

 

I believe if Pac is reaching May in any way May gets KTFO, and if Mayweather makes Manny miss constantly while patting him no way is May going to tire and its a huge points win for May. I believe May will do what Cotto did in rd one for 12 rds only he will do it better minimize the exchanges shut down Pac. May in a boring win on points. Then again something magical can happen Pac is that great, we shall see.

Pacquiao is missing shots. Are you trying to say that Pacquiao should've landed all the punches that he throws on Hatton? :rofl So, Mayweather should've landed all the punches he threw at Marquez and Hatton. Mayweather missed some shots too. You can see that Marquez was even battered during his fight with Mayweather. Pacquiao gave Marquez hell and vice versa. You don't even need to a clip to to recognize that Marquez was hurt during his encounter with Pacquiao. Marquez looked fine after the KD from Mayweather. You asked for proof were Pacquiao land an effective punch. The punch that landed on Diaz is proof! There was speed and power behind it. REAPER ,you got it right. mayweather has to put some hurt on paquioa .He`s gonna outbox him .far more skilled than jjm & marqez BEAT pac in one fight maybe two.Paquioa will be the aggresser so may has got to hurt on paquioa to slow him up.I think he will.I love Paquioa`s take no prisoner attack but he`s going to get frustated, missing and counterpunched by the best in the business.....one more thing has anybody ever carried power with them as they moved up in wt classes like paquioa (in history)usually boxers lose ko power ????
