i honestly think he will come back, but not this year. i think he'll stay retired until someone gets big enough status to make a real megafight, but i think he'll only do that if the opponent is tailor made for him like canelo was, no right minded boxing fan ever thought that fight would be competitive, i don't even remember seeing golovkin's son land anything but grazing shots on maysquirt but that's besides the point. i believe he comes back though.
either he runs out of money due to all the leeches that are around him, or the temptation of coming back into the ring after not finding a new way in life is too strong
