When and why was the cruiserweight class established?

    Let’s put it this way.

    If a fighter cannot win a title, with the current myriad of weight classes and sanctioning bodies, then they are probably not titlist material.

    There has always been anomalously big men in boxing history. Only a matter of time till those few were trained to the same level as everyone else.

    Although I maintain only Wlad has shown an unbeatable game plan vs midgets.

    Eventually, a division needs to be added because of the trend of huge heavyweights.
