He was robbed vs Parker because the fight was in NZ. He won that fight.

Beat Joshua when Wlad and Pov failed to do so.

Recently beat Ortiz with 3 knockdowns.

3 good wins under his belt, only 1 real loss to AJ.

Yes he's fat, but who cares? What does that have to do with anything? Fury has been a fatass since he returned but he makes it work for him.

Ruiz has great power and speed for a guy who is chubby.

Nobody can defeat a PRIME Dustin Nichols at a buffet bar. Well, maybe Ruiz can come close, but I bet he fades in the championship rounds

I'm not underestimating Andres Ruiz Jr. He was underestimated by AJ and we saw what happened. He was robbed of the WBO belt against Parker, but later regained it by winning the WBO and some other belts; Parker's later career was not so successful. He has a good chin, quick hands, good ring IQ, knows how to stick to his gameplan...
And he has a better resume than Wilder.

    Tell that to fatass Fury?

Who cares about his physique it's his boxing ability that matters.

He is disrespecting himself, inside and outside of the ring. Why do you expect people to not treat him the same way ?

When he does more than land a haymaker counter on a cocky AJ, and follow up.
Other than that he's done nothing at the elite level.
    >Beat no prime top fighter before that.
    >A terrified AJ beat him easily in the rematch.
    >Got dropped by an over-40 Arreola
    >Beat a mid-40s+ Ortiz who Wilder had knocked the last punch resistance out of.

Everybody has been waiting for him to prove his skills against some other prime top fighter for years, to show the AJ fight wasn't a fluke, and it's never happened! People were actually curious to see what he'd do and look at the result, people still can't work out what he can do because he avoids everyone who isn't over 40 and shot to bits.

There are so many fighters who would have fought him because he had a name and is short and lacks big power at HW, and is obese too. But he wants to cashout off his one night of glory years ago.

    Doesn't matter.

He has 3 good wins on his record as far as I'm concerned.

Ruiz has an exciting style with exception of his plodding feet. I thought Parker edged the Ruiz fight but it was competitive. Ruiz handspeed (as Parker's) is always nice to watch...

However, Ruiz got lucky with Joshua - Joshua dropped him with the first combination landed, then he thought "this guy is **** easy", swinged for the fences (with no care for defence) and underestimated Ruiz's chin getting clocked in the process. This was more AJ losing than Ruiz winning imo. The first knockdown messed up AJ for the entire fight. He was getting knocked down by light blows after that. We saw what Ruiz level was when he fought AJ in Saudi..yeah he was a fat **** but I don't think it would have made it that much more competitive if were in better shape, he's always had that plodding feet.

It must also be said that Ruiz loves to hit the back of the head, and very close to it with his looping punches ...which..you know...in boxing rules...is illegal...

The Ruiz win over 69 year old Ortiz is pretty much nothing to be impressed by

Ruiz has looked poor lately, at best like a low top 10 HW. Still good and world class, but appears to be on the decline because he doesn't take care of himself.

I think people were disappointed that when he finally won the title vs Joshua, he threw it away by coming in even heavier in the rematch. Obviously not taking it seriously enough, and I hate to see a lack of dedication when you finally get a chance at the big time.

As for the Parker fight ? That was a close fight that could've gone either way.

No one disrespects him..................we see what we see.

If anything, he disrespects himself.......he comes in half assed and doesn't give himself the best advantage to thrive in a fairly weak division
