For me theres nothin better than watching Barerra dismantle The Prince..Marco comin as a huge underdog, I would say its one of his best and most proud victories. And one of hid best performances.

He wasn't a HUGE underdog at all, Hamed was the favourite but Barrera was a big name . I knew it was a tough fight and so did many others.

Beating a Prime Morales is better but still the Hamed fight was an unforgettable ATG performance from MAB.

    Enough with that **** :hand

I like Hamed, he`s one of my favourite fighters ever, Barrera isn`t one of my favourites, I used to hate the ****, I`m over that now but he`s still not near being my favourite fighter.... Naz was in as good a condition as possible for that fight & its a discredit to Barrera`s masterful performance to blame the result of this fight on Hamed not being properly prepared.

I personally think the Naz that beat Robinson in 1995 was better than the 2001 version that Barrera beat so in that sense MAB never beat a peak Hamed but for that fight, Naz was in as good a condition as possible, he wanted this fight badly, Barrera was just the better technician with the smarter game plan on the night.

You`ve got to give credit were its due.

    :good

The night that Hamed got found out? Yeah, I said it.

The Hamed nut huggers will say that Naz wasn't at his dynamic best, was at odds with his fight camp, da de da.

If any of that was true, only Hamed to blame. He wasn't a consummate professional, he didn't have the discipline of a great champion, he got found out for all the things he was lacking that night.

Hamed had a lot of gifts, and a very unorthodox style with heavy hands - but he just wasn't in the Morales/Barrera category, and after he was defeated he didn't have the heart to build the come back that he always promised.

Heart the size of a pea.

So was it one of MABs greatest victories - just another day at the office for a genuine champion.

Are you seriously disputing that it's one of his greatest victories? With the exception of Morales, who did Barrera beat of the same standing of Hamed?
