Far from it. I like BHOP, always have, always will. And I agree, it'll be a competitive fight. I just like winding up the doubters & douchebags. Not me. I'm just giving another example of when people underestimate Joe and are always wrong.
I think Winky beat Bhop, BHop cant out box Joe,he cant out speed Joe,his reaction time wont match Joes, Joe will box him silly until Bhop starts the survivor mode.
Bhop is unofficially not even the best in his division. If he fights Dawson he will murder Bhop, and Calzaghe beats Dawson, so how can Bhop beat Calzaghe? Maybe if this was Hopkins in his prime.
When Bhop beats Calzaghe, he'll probably get a high-five from Oscar and he'll be through playing Fight Night for the day....unless he wants to do what nearly every Fight Night fan does at least once, and KO's Muhammad Ali with Pacquiao.
IF Bhop wins....top 20 all time One thing I do remember about Bhops prime, was he beat a lot of small fighters. But I cant see how he will overcome Calzaghe, unless he klnocks him out early. When was the last time Bhop ko'd anyone though, especially iron jawed calzaghe. i think on esb everyone gets a little too worked up about p4p standings and complete resumes. I think we should just watch the boxer and appreciate the skills which to me are patently obvious in Calzaghe.
If B-Hop beates Calzaghe they'll all say "Calzaghe was a protected fighter moving up in weight" and he'll get no credit.
Rubbish. It won't happen but if it does he will and rightly so get massive credit. Calzaghe is rated p4p number 2 by many so how do you figure that out?
Where was Tito P4P when B-Hop beat him? He gets no credit for that win these days. Especially from some of the Calzaghe fans.
Top 5 OF HIS GENERATION & thats MAYBE. Not atg. Anyway, no need to worry as I think calzaghe either stops bernie late on or wins a clear punishing ud.
A win over a great champion like Calzaghe at 43 years old, on top of all Hopkins' other achievements, would propel him into the top 20 greatest fighters in the history of professional gloved boxing, I think. Maybe even top 15.
