When brook hold porter it's strategy ...

The problem is that brook was scoring with his own punches, broner hardly even through anything so when you see a guy moving holding and not punching they're going to lose.... brook was clearly trying to keep porter at range with his jab and straight right and then when porter closes to distance, smother his wold swinging and rabbit punching... thats why its a strategy...

Brook did clinch excessively in the first half of his fight with Porter and should have lost a point somewhere in there. That said, while still excessive, it was not even close to the insane degree that Broner did it and Brook did a better job of slipping in quality shots as Porter was coming in, curbing his aggression a little.

I do think there should be some sort of universal referendum on clinching. It's ridiculous that some fighters are using it as a crutch to avoid engaging on the inside at all, and that use of it as a strategy appears to be becoming more prevalent.
