    Lemieux is good. Just the upset to Rubio gets too me a bit. He is a KO artist and will come back!

    You should be required to take an IQ test, in order to create an ESB account...
    If you score below 70, then you shouldnt be allowed to post..

    The obvious answer to the thread is NO, Canada does not have any real boxing prospects.

    Canadians have been obviously avoiding the question because they don't like or want to face the answer.

    First Hopkins eliminates Pascal, and soon Bute's hype will end to a real contender.
    Canada, the question you don't want to face;
    Who's next in line behind Bute?

    Canada is a big fight country. From my area, Newfoundland, MMA is big at bars and such. However, nobody knows anything about boxing here - like, at all.

    Quebec, from what I've heard and seen, is a big fight province. Sure, they have protected Pascal and Bute, but those guys are good fighters, whether or not people will admit it is a different story.

    Can Canada cultivate a good boxing talent? Of course! Why not? We're as big of a fight country as the US, and history speaks for itself. Some of the best prospects in MMA are Canadian, and boxing is no different...

    I think it's wrong to say that if Bute falls then Canada will fall as a fight mecca. The UFC has put on cards where the main event was NOT GSP and they have sold out in minutes. We're not THAT patriotic; this idea is overplayed in the American media, in my opinion. We're not like somewhere like Britain where if one of their guys isn't beating on some can they won't watch...
