When Calzaghe beat Hopkins

To add, anyone who says the Hopkins that fought Pascal would've beaten Calzaghe, get over it. Pascal doesn't have Calzaghe's adjustment abilities, nor does he have the ability to overwhelm people with unbelievable stamina, nor can he punch in so many bunches, or slap in so many bunches.

Hopkins' shots became useless even if they were cleaner, because they weren't stopping Calzaghe anymore after the first few rounds and Hopkins was getting tagged by clean shots too in between the flails.

Hopkins was gasping for air because he could not fight at his own pace like he could with Pavlik, Tarver, and Pascal.

Calzaghe 116-111 was the perfect score. Fight wasn't close. The racist Hopkins used every dirty trick in the book and was still dominated.

Ring generalship? hopkins in this fight? Thats an utter JOKE!!! Hopkins was chased and battered around the ring. It wasn't smart defensive movement. Bhop was avoiding conflict because he couldnt keep up with JC, JC embarrassed Bhop in this fight. He was the effective aggressor, controlled the ring and punched/slapped Hops into submission.

No way Bhop won this fight. Some people shouldnt be scoring boxing.

Oh and one edit, JC would always have a bad style for Bhop. Bhop cannot deal with fast guys. JC beats him more than not any version of Bhop.

Calzaghe won the fight, anyone who watches it can see that but some choose not to, it was pretty close overall but a clear win. If you looked at compubox alone you would think that calzaghe coasted it easily but the fight was closer than compubox makes out, but not that close to cause so much arguement about it, it should really have been a UD for calzaghe and would have been anywhere else except the states

 

That was in the Jones fight. The Hopkins KD was a punch but didn't daze Calzaghe, just embarassed him.

 

you ****ing ****** i was saying hopkins was a sham that fight and i scored it 4 rounds up to joe.c, you cant say well im not gonnar score them punches caz they wasnt hard enough, so when is a punch scored clean when someones head goes rolling of the ring is that what you class as a scoring punch, you for real, its you who really does not know about scoreing in boxing.
