Marquez is really the only one capable of doing it IMO but he's already said that he's going to stay at 135.

Montiel won't be able to do it, he just isn't that level of fighter. Great power, but his dedication and skills are in question imo.

 

I don't know man...He's been on a roll as of late...I'd say if he keeps this up, he could snatch a belt at 122...

He has the fury, the physical prowess, but he doesn't have the sophistication needed to dominate that many classes. I also think he's lazy regarding training sometimes, correct. If he had a great trainer and a better work ethic I'd say he could do it but as he is right now Nonito will eat him alive, Montiel's style is imo pretty tailor made for the guy.

Marquez has a chance vs any of the top 4 140 lb title holder. I could see marquez outboxing maidana to a UD. He has a good chance of putting khan to sleep. Bradley and alexander would be a tougher match up for him but he could beat them. JMM is an ATG

 

Marquez will fight Khan sooner or later, Barrera has some options at LW such as Soto and Miguel Vazquez, I know Morales is looking for a JMM clash and Montiel is on a huge run, that is 4 fighters there.
