When comparing Canelo to GGG. What would a 32 year or GGG do to a 40 yr old Canelo?

GGG probably would have fought with one arm and paid to lose.

Would have fought Mayweather at 152.

Another more rational clue: no body punches clauses in Canelo's dodgy contracts.

Canelo was stood in front and in range of Golovkin yet Golovkin threw no body punches of note in both 1, 2 & 3. Golovkin is a very good body puncher, and he can deliver fast snappy unpredictable body punches.

    H E T H R E W N O N E.

People say, yeah but if you throw body punches you leave the head open...erm yeah but if you throw head punches you not only also expose your head, you expose your body. So that is a load of BS>

The only two reasons Golovkin didn't throw body punches : it was in the contract or Golovkin actively chose to throw no body punches (at a static target) because he independently decided to headhunt (which would pose questions as to why?). Because Golovkin not throwing body punches is not because he was scared of counters or would make him more vulnerable.

I think GGG and Canelo are too close in level to ever have one dominate. They both have good chins that won’t let them be knocked down and that’s why they both hesitate to go on the front foot. They also both have power so any mistake one makes the ither can capitalize on it. I think most people who followed these guys made money on their last fight going 12 even with GGG being 40.

The judges failed him and lifted Canelo up. Nothing has changed. A 40 year old GGG got out hustled early, then went toe to toe for the last 4 to 5 rounds. He never came close to getting hurt or stopped. Canelo made alot of statements he couldn't back up.
