Does anyone know when rounds were stoped being scored evenly on the regular? 50s maybe?

Can't be true. There are still Japanese boxing judges aren't there?

It's still in effect in most parts of the world besides the US.

If the whole fight can be scored a draw, then it is logical that the round can be scored a draw.
That rule has not been repealed.

I wish more 1st and 2nd rounds were scored 10-10. There is no reason why uneventful 1st rounds that are won on 2 jabs landing should count the same as a dominating round. Canelo-GGG fights should not be decided on 1st rounds that didn't impact the fight.
