I think you'll find Scottish and the English are different breeds. And what the **** do I care? In those threads I'll address those posters, in this thread I'm addressing Americans.

    Irony?

"The ones like De La Hoya, who had loads of heart, I see as Yanks, then there are those like Vargas, who I'd count as a Mexican."

So you count De La Hoya as an american, but Vargas you count as a Mexican.Yeah! that makes alot of sense.

    Hmmmm :huh

You do know that both Oscar and Fernando were born in the US.

How do you figure one is more mexican than the other?

you say he has done all this in all but 25 fights...but 25 fights have taken 7 years....forgot to point that out

That's because our athletes are good at everything. So half the people that would have been boxing now days like the UK, they are winning stanley cups, NBA championships, and Superbowls and world series. We can even hang with just aboout anyone in soccer which i think is a pretty good feat considering every other country ONLY plays soccer.. So when our fighters lately suck its cuz they're too busy owning you in every other sport

You have the worst Rugby Union team I've seen in my life, unless that sport isn't included in 'everything'?!

Tell me who else has won (WBC WBA WBO RING CW titles and WBA HW title) so many titles in so few fights and most of them away? Bet you struggle.
Haye asked for the fight to be put back 2 weeks due to injury so Wlad fought Chagaev, so Haye took on the next available titlist, then in his first defence beat Americas best HW of the last 10 years , now to mark time he could be fighting Harrison an olympic gold medallist and European champ (but not all that special) which would give him a massive pay day on Sky Pay per view.

    Sounds a right joke

You confuse not being able to overcome stylistic issues with will to win.

Add Jacobs to this steadily growing list. He could have got up and chose not to. He would only have been knocked out later in the fight, but to lie on his back? Cowardice. It's been a bad few weeks with Mayweather too.

America should support Williams, Dawson, Bradley and Alexander as much as possible! Though don't be suprised if Alexander pisses his pants next week and takes a dive against the limited Kotelnik, if he doesn't go down in the first.

What happened to the mentality of the American fighters of the 70's?
