    Good question, makes a big difference on viewership. Boxing shouldn't interfere with people's night out on the town.

    Also live stuff isnt viable in the early hours on a weekday,but its not as bad on a weekend.

    Bigtime boxing fights have always been Sunday mornings, starting around 10am here in the Philippines.

    Boxing wise, as far back as I can remember, (late 1980's) it's always been like that here.

    The really big ones were beamed live via satellite, from the US.

    The big fights that were held on a Monday or a Friday, they were recorded on tape and shown also Sunday mornings, or sometimes, late night Saturday.
