when did cotto become an HBO fighter?

    i was just rewatching the quintana fight, it was on showtime!!

    i thought he was with hbo for longer

    how many fights have hbo signed him for?

    I'm pretty sure he is not officially "signed" to the network. They just have shown a lot of his fights but he is not in a locked deal where all of his fights have to be shown on HBO. In fact, I know he is not ...The Malignaggi was a Top Rank PPV show.

    Almost all his fight had been with hbo. All the Cotto fights had been televised, First fights ESPN then telefutura, undercards in PPV events, then regular atraction in HBO,two fight in ppv no a main channel top rank ppv, one fight in showtime and now a hbo ppv fighter.

    I wouldn't sign with a network if I were him. Make them outbid each other every time you fight!

    I think after the Quintana fight they were not going to lose him at all. Hot commodity.

    I've only seen i believe 1 Cotto fight on showtime, the rest espn, HBO, payperview

    Malinaggi was a Top Rank ppv as pointed out earlier in the thread it conflicted with Hopkins v Tarver which was HBO . Otherwise HBO would have presumely showed it .

    No Mallignagi was on top rank ppv
    And the Maussa was direct tv ppv

    yeah you are right most of his fights have been on hbo

    im just suprised he was on hbo for a lot, and then he had a fight on showtime and top rank ppv
