When did Eye Doctors start becoming this big of a factor?

    Z Gorres - torn retina
    Gerson Guerrero - torn retina

    All with the exception of Gorres are now not cleared to fight because of their eye doctors' diagnoses. When did boxing all of a sudden start worrying about this problem at this level? It could all be a coincidence, but something else is telling me that we're gonna be seeing more of this.
