Clear as day to see the likes of Holyfield, Mosley, Jones, Pacquiao, Hopkins, Toney are filthy cheats. Their entire careers should be wiped from the history books.

Well, there's still weightlifting and wrestling of course... recent retests have caught a huge # of them, most of them were using Stanozol (Ben Johnson's drug) and were caught using new testing methods. The names still have to be annouced, but it is a massive catch.

We never know how bad it is in boxing because the level of testing is laughable by todays standards. Floyds so called "OST" included.

On topic: Don't know when he started, but all his biggest achievements should be marked with an * in my opinion.

Sh*t (can we swear on here or do we have tocensor?), I didn't realize Holy was working with the bodybuilding guys before he even moved to HW. I never took Qawi's accusations seriously, it just seemed like sour grapes but maybe he has a point. Man, Holy's whole legacy is suspect if he started using before he even secured his legacy at CW.
I have mixed feelings about PED's, part of me thinks so long as it's 'healthy' use that isn't going to mean athletes keeling over before they even retire then why shouldn't they use available resources to improve their performance? It goes against human nature, we've always revered 'power objects' like the Holy Grail etc and considered the people who find them and use them to their advantage to be heroes. There's no such thing as an 'even playing field', everybody's got different genetics, don't we as a culture value 'working hard'\'working smart' over 'natural talent'\'birth-right'?
To me the grey area is health risks, I don't think any sporting body should condone athletes throwing their lives away just to be successful athletes. Plus it should be out in the open, no B.S. pretense about keeping the sport clean when more than half the athletes are on SOMETHING.

Considering how popular and effective HGH is and supposedly there's no reliable test for it, any pretension of being 'drug free' is indeed laughable.

What on earth are you rambling on about? He was regularly dismissed as a blown up cruiserweight in his earlier years as a heavyweight and the fact that he wasn't taking out heavyweights like he did as a cruiserweight was cited to support that notion.

There was no transformation when he moved up. He didn't even start gaining noticeable mass until after the first Bowe fight, which coincidentally was around the time he started to decline as a fighter.

Enlarged skull like PEDquiao and Barry Bonds are symptoms.

Holyfield never tested positive for any substance. Yet people consider him guilty of something without any concrete evidence. People should be presumed innocent until PROVEN guilty. :nod

Maybe Evan Fields should've stepped up to clear his friend's name and said "That was my stuff. Evander just answers my phone and gets some of my packages from time to time"

Neither did Barry Bonds, Shane Mosley, Lance Armstrong..ect.

I remember when this story first broke and Holyfield claimed he was going to do an "internal investigation" on himself.

When the results came back in from his in-house CSI lab the results were negative. Holyfield's name was cleared by Holyfield.

Funny after reading Holy's wiki page i did not know he was linked to yet another LAB that got raided. This time around it was an HGH lab.
