When did Joseph Parker give up becoming a heavyweight champ to be Fury's fan?

Seemed like the regression happened slowly, can anyone put a finger on when exactly it happened? After the AJ fight? Maybe after the Whyte fight?

J-Park has actually improved a great deal since GOAT welcomed him into the gypsy fold. Ain't no losers in a winning team. Steele sharpens steel. Success breeds success.

If you think about it almost everyone is a Fury fanboy

AJ, Chisora, Joyce, Parker, Whyte...list goes on. They love him.

He agreed to be the step in if Whyte pulled out and backed himself for the win.

Parker showed his lack of dignity when he fought joshua with no rematch clause.

It occurred during the AJ fight when that incompetent referee kept breaking them apart whenever Parker got close.

Parker realized that he was fighting not just AJ, not even just AJ and the referee but all the money people as well. The money people who helped AJ get a gift gold medal he didn't earn conspiring to make AJ a brand name marketable image are the same people who destroyed Parkers hopes and dreams.

Do you think he would have got the fight otherwise?

I disagree, that shows that he’s a real man who backs himself and isn’t afraid of losing. Just like Ruiz and Usyk who agreed to the same sh*tty deal concocted by Fast Eddie and pulled off the win, just like Fury last night who went into the fight against Whyte without a rematch clause.

Real fighters (i.e. not Anthony Joshua) don’t need to hide behind obligatory rematch clauses that give them a get out of jail free card.

Parker is a nice respectful guy. Sort of guy you'd be happy to see your daughter date if you had one (which I don't btw).

Parker no longer cares about boxing, if he ever really did. The man clearly lost that first fight to Chisora, and that says it all.

Parker literally thwacked Chisora all around the ring.
And he has improved markedly in the Fury/ Kronk setup

Parker vs Joyce is coming and will decide a future champion

Don't understand this - he's about to take a tough fight with Joyce, winner is the new number one contender to whatever emerges from Fury/Usyk/AJ.

We rated him highly at the time he was a contender. That was before he lost to Russell from Up movie
