I think it's hyperbolic to call him a world beater but he's a good fighter. He lost to Rubio and Alcine when he was what, like 21/22? To say he hasn't improved since then is silly really, especially over that age gap. He was winning just fine against Rubio but gassed out and got made to pay - you learn lessons like that when you're a young fighter. He just got plain old beat in the fight after, probably as much a confidence thing as anything else.

In his fights since then I'd still comfortably be happy to say he'd be able to avenge those losses against the same versions of those guys.

Lemieux comes to fight, hes got a huge punch and seems pretty down to earth

He has also done something no one in modern boxing will do and challenge GGG, and that his first title defense, he could have milked that belt up in Canada for all its worth but instead stood up to the plate

    whats not to like?

A certain someone in world boxing could learn a thing or 2 from him

He's a good fighter. You also forgot the D between the I and K in your username.

He'll KO Lara if they ever meet in the ring. :bbb

So yeah, he can KO the #1 LMW in the world. The same one that people are hounding should fight Golovkin before you go on a rant about someone smaller than him.

He has flaws sure. But he beat a legit opponent in Ndam for the title, so by that alone he is a world beater, in your preferred terms. For him to the bottom of the 10 best mw there should be at least 5 mw that were certain to beat him, with comfortable odds. The only MW we know beats him at this stage of the career is GGG, but he beats everyone.

I said you lack boxing knowledge based on what you said about Rubio. Haye gassed and lost to Thompson. Wlad gassed and lost to Ross the Boss. I wa the live as David beat the patches out of Rubio for 90 percent of the fight until he ran out of gas. And I know why he gassed, he was barely making weight with an amateurish team and no proper nutritionist. His two early loses don't mean jack ****, just ask the ATG Bhop (or check his record).

Lemieux is a legit top 3 mw in the world and I give him a chance against anone in the division that is not named GGG.

You really are one of the absolute worst and least creative posters on the site. But that's to be expected from guys who forget to capitalize last names and repeatedly misspell Lemieux.

I definitely think he has a good chance against Canelo and CEJ. He has a better chance against Canelo.

So what does that make Lara then? Lemieux would KO Lara. Lara must be an absolute bum them.

Yeah like he schooled Molina, Vanes and Angulo right? Give it a rest. If Vanes and Angulo's pressure and power is bordering on too much for him Lemieux would be an absolute nightmare.

You got some ***** to make a claim like that! I mean if Pee Wee Herman was fighting a prime Mike Tyson, I can see someone being so bold! Lemieux stopping Lara is no given! Not saying Lemmy can't do it but, it's not outside the realm of possibility that Lara finishes the fight on his feet!
