    Final point

Manny could lose. But it's not because Margarito is that good.

More the fact that Manny is very easy to hit, quite sloppy, makes a lot of mistakes, and takes a lot of big fights.

Margarito throws just as many shots as he does, hits just as hard, and will probably land 3 big shots for every 10 big shots Manny lands.

If you get a scenario where Manny starts to feel his 3 shots more than Margarito feels his 10, then you could have a Cotto fight all over again.

The only real question for this fight is how good Pacquiao actually is? And whether he has that sort of skill level to manage a fight like this. As say, Shane did.

Whether he can just go in with any sort of style guy, and dominate

yep. thats the thing with margarito-type fighters who are very limited fighters at this level. they are going to be easy to hit so they need a granite chin and a mindset.

i think there are more fighters like this than people realise in boxing.

But on a brighter note for Pacfans, I don't really think Manny would be taking the fight if Roach wasn't 8000% sure he was going to win easily.

Manny's very good against guys who are slower than him and are easy to hit. It's his dream fight.

On styles, it's a pretty hand picked fight if you ask me.

Genuinely tough fight for Pacquiao would be facing someone with real skills, speed and power. Guys who don't just want to brawl for 3 minutes of a round.

Marquez, Mosely, Bradley, Martinez would all be very tough fights for Pacquiao, in regards to style.

Why he's happier taking bum pay packets against brawlers like Margarito than cash in against guys like Marquez and Mosely.

Pacquiao will make less against Margarito than he was offered to rematch Marquez at 130-135, years ago.

Why he's taking the fight. Stylistically, it fits the risk/reward equation the best.

Not going to take on risky styles, for say $15 million, and risk losing $50 million for Mayweather

  6. you got the nerves of criticizing tito's loaded gloves ....

but you are missing floyd's injected hands and lips and jaws.

oh yeah? And you HONESTLY think Pac wouldn't fight Mosely? He's not afraid to fight PBF, Margo, Clottey and Cotto but he's scared of Shane? Really? That makes sense to you?

Oh I see. That must be why you're constantly, 24/7, all day and all night long trying to denigrate and downgrade the most exciting fighter since Mike Tyson, a guy fighting the biggest and toughest monsters two weight classes above his own, and WINNING. Because you're such 'boxing fans.'

You're not boxing fans. You're just a bunch of dudes with serious gay manlove for Floyd, who doesn't deserve it.

Man, I find it quite alarming that boxing fans actually still believe the rumour that Xyloclaine is even illegal in boxing.

Can I dispel it, so you guys stop sounding like such lightweights.

It's 100% legal to train with.

It's 100% illegal to box with.

Tons of drugs in boxing are legal to train with. Otherwise it would be impossible to get into that sort of shape.

Week of the fight, they have a cut off date, where training drugs become illegal, so boxers can't benefit from them in the ring.

Xyolclaine and pain killers are one such thing. Pacquiao's dietry supplements are another.

Tons of fighters have failed pre fight drug tests on both xyolclaine and the dietry stuff Manny does.

Ok to train with. Illegal to box with.

Although, I should just accept that this guy was probably watching WWE before Manny vs. De la Hoya, and trolling on boards on how

"The heart break kid Shawn Michaels screwed Brett! He never fights guys taller than 6 foot 7! he ducks the undertaker"

Pacquiao's world famous for ducking Shane after he destroyed Margarito.

Why the hell do you turn down $20 million in the biggest fight of the year, and then 12 months later decide you're going to face the guy he retired.

He fought Margarito, Clottey and Cotto for one very good reason. They're basically brawlers, who come to fight, and aren't going to run away and make him look too bad.

You saw the Clottey fight, how bad he is against guys who just don't want to trade with him.

That was Shane on the other side, landing those bombs, he'd have got knocked out.

Manny aint got in with a skilled opponent since marquez

Dude, Mike Tyson had a lot of casual, stupid fans as well, abusing everyone, and trying to claim he was better than Ali.............

Casual fans jump on the highest rank brawler bandwagon they can find. As all they want to do is watch exciting street fights.

Real boxing fans respect brawls, and the sweet science.

As in, Manny's plainly fought worse opposition above 135 than Mayweather.
