The moment he Knocked out Williams. He grew into the weight well and he has been on a knockout streak ever since which is more than I can say for any other middleweight champion at the present time
sense the cintron fight n now hes been declining sense barker fight, hes kinda old but he dont got alot of wear and tear on his body from boxing
Martinez was too light at 154 to do any damage, personally he is at his best now Martinez should have stopped cintron, if he fought the same Kermit now Cintron would be out cold or would have quit on his stool
I actually don't think he's prime anymore, if he is, he's @ the tail end. He's been fighting paper faced euro's that have made him look ordinary for long stretches but eventually succumb to more than one punch being thrown at them at a time. Not the best measuring stick. Martinez from Pavlik fight was prime.
Probably since Bunema at the latest. Hard to say as I hadn't seen him fight before then. He's still prime, but he doesn't often push himself more than he has to. He's also money-cautious and smart, and thus doesn't want to scare off boxing's two major cashcows. If he looks "average" in winning, I'm sure he considers it good for his career from a match-making perspective. Only way a Pac fight can happen is if Sergio can fool Roach into thinking he's over the hill. Goodluck with that...
He entered his prime after the beating margocheato gave him back in the days. That's just my honest opinion.
